Things to do in London, England: The Best Outdoor Activities

February 7, 2022 Deane Carmody

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

Went for an experience day at the NCCA a few months ago, had so much fun! The teachers were very helpful and spent a lot of time which each person in the group. Some of the disciplines I got to try on the experience day included: Tight wire Acrobatics Silks (probably my fave) Flying trapeze Juggling Was definitely worth the money for the time you're in there and the variety of skills you learn. I probably had the least experience out of everyone there, but the instructors are so encouraging and helpful so I wasn't self conscious. Really nice space, impressive building. Would definitely go again
