Things to do in London, England: The Best Nature & Parks

January 29, 2022 Florencio Paulino

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

Cartwright Gardens

Reviewed By Dr_Waugh - Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

I chose a different walking route through London from Kings Cross today and happened upon these gardens. At first I thought they were for residents as the railings looked like they enclosed the entire gardens. However in the centre you will find four hard tennis courts for hire through the open play website. I was also impressed on this, the mid term Election Day in the US, to read about Cartwright after whom this park was renamed due to the reformations made.
