The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

Friendly old fashioned wood panelled pub just off the Euston Road well worth finding. A good selection of beers and though I didn’t eat the menu looked value and the food brought to others fine.

A lovely little gay bar, great place to go and chat with friends. It’s got a bit of a cocktail bar vibe but they do have beer on tap too!

We had an excellent lunch here on Monday 17th, the food was excellent with a very varied variety to choose from on the menu. This is a traditional old English Pub with wam and welcoming staff, the service is fast for a busy lunchtime visit. When we are in Bloomsbury London again we will certainly revisit. Thankyou again.

Terrific old boozer with lots of its Victorian original decor & fittings (including the frosted glass “posh screens” so the clientele didn’t have to see the bar staff) really popular with Dickens, Ted Hughes etc (though not at the same time) sells Young’s beers, too !
