Lady Kentmores is an Antique shop with a difference, we stock all those normal antique shop stalwarts from fine porcelain to jewellery but we also are proud to deal in the more unusual side of the trade too from shrunken heads and medical oddities to fairground antiques.This is because owner George Johnson ( TV antiques expert, writer & treasure hunter) has a mission to bring a bit of fun & showmanship to the antiques trade,Every corner of the shop is jam packed with items of curiosity and interest, it is because of this that the shop has featured on television and in the press many times. The shop has also made the finals of the BBC Home & Antiques Best Antiques Shop in the UK!That's not a bad recommendation to have.

To make this dream a reality, we converted our old Microbrewery and the Scottish Real Ale Shop opened its doors for the first time in December 2006. We are a one stop shop for Scottish beer, Real Ale Festivals and brewing information; a place where you can purchase that elusive bottle from the Hebrides or that delicious blonde from Islay. We hold a Beer Festival every year and have tastings throughout the summer weekends so you can try before you buy!
