Slovenia, wedged between Austria and Italy, has always been proud of its unique heritage. The capital, Ljubljana, is a perfect example of this blend of German, Mediterranean, and Slovenian culture. The old town is a blend of Baroque, Renaissance, and Art Nouveau buildings, watched over by a medieval castle. Cut through the gardens of Tivoli Park to the National Museum of Contemporary History for a history of modern Slovenia, featuring crumbled statues of Stalin and a recreation of a WWI trench.

Wine store with a big selection of slovenian wine producers. Many small eko producers and a lot of orange wine.
Stopped here to pick up some bottles of the famous Slovenian orange wine, and stayed to try a couple of glasses. The owner was very knowledgable and made some great recommendations. This is definitely the place to come for wine in Ljubljana!

Great wine bar. Amazing selection, they also have several wines not from their own vineyard. Very knowledgeable staff with wines from the region and the world. Was very impressed with the wine flight itself and we were also able to try several other wines.
