Docks Beers is a craft beer brewery, taproom and beer shop in an old Church near Grimsby's famous Docks. Our brewing is inspired by our location and the hard work ethic of dockers past and present. We brew our beers on an exhibition brewery which is in full view of the taproom. Visitors can watch the brewers hard at work while they sup a pint chosen from a number of Docks Beers on tap, or a selection of real ales on handpull brewed by our sister brewery Axholme Brewing Co. We also stock a range other brewery's beers, wines, gins, cider and soft drinks. We have snacks - crisps, nuts, cured meats and pickled eggs. If you fancy something more substantial we have a wood fired sour dough pizza menu from Tredici who will deliver pizza to the taproom. Brewery tours and beer tastings are available on the first Saturday of every month. There are four tours 10:30, 12:00, 13:30 and 15:00. Tours must book in advance via our website. Our off-licensed shop sells beers and merchandise to take away.
Great atmosphere, very modern, best cider, amazing street food and Blue Light discount! Live a day out at Dock Beers ????

Top chef, Nigel Brown, holds these exclusive classes in his very own cookery school kitchen so you can enjoy the pleasure of cooking in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All the equipment we use is similar to what you will find in domestic kitchens up and down the country so whatever you learn you can recreate in your own home.
Had an amazing time on my cooking course, Nigel is a great tutor and very easy to get on with. I did the michelin star magic course. The food i created using Nigel's tuition was incredible. I was lucky enough to get one on one tuition but i dont think this would have made a difference if the course was full. The set up Nigel has in his studio is great. A huge thankyou to nigel for making this course great in such a difficult time. I will definitely be booking on to another one of your short courses.

Temporarily Closed Our Visitors Centre really is the jewel in the Brewery’s crown; a place where we celebrate the past and present of Batemans and welcome guests from near and far. There’s a fascinating brewery tour and tutored tastings, traditional pub games, an enticing calendar of events throughout the seasons, old brewing and Batemans family artefacts, the biggest collection of bottled beers in the country and good food and drink to enjoy. There is also a lovely beer garden which overlooks the brewery paddock and River Steeping. Our historic Brewery offers a glimpse into the world of Batemans. A brewery tour also involves a visit into the brewery artefacts room in order to browse through the original documents dating back to the 1800s. Those on the tour can also go into the upstairs of the windmill. Our Centre is housed in our beautiful 18th century windmill and is one of Lincolnshire’s most picturesque tourist attractions. Beer lovers and curious tourists alike come for our warm welcome.
Very good brewery tour Sarah was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the family history Sarah personality shone through throughout the tour and made the tour what it was, great value for money and the special deal with the entrance and you got a free bottle of beer the only downside the local village pub the Woolpack was not very hospitable and left without eating.

Batemans Brewery has been passed down through four generations of the Bateman family, and along with it a passion that’s never abated. The hard-fought independence is a wonderful thing, allowing the business to continue to brew great beer and run successful pubs. That success has never been at the expense of other people. Harry Bateman, the second generation once told his fellow brewers: “In your business, don’t ever lose the human touch with your employees and tenants.” These are the wise, caring words we live by.
We went to Batemans brewery to band on the bank, brilliant day out live music from 1pm, Batemans real ale and food stalls, took our chis, but plent of grass to sit on, £6 for the day, second year that I have been will going again next year

Came here on our day trip to Lincoln and it’s close to the top of Steep Hill not far from the cathedral. We were lured in by the smell of something sweet and there was a pan on the stove cooking. We were greeted by a friendly lady who offered us tasters whilst we browsed the wonderful array of fudge, all of them sounded so inviting!! I must warn you it’s not the cheapest, the current prices being £5.50 per one pack roughly 175g but they get cheaper the more you buy. The flavours were all so prominent, granted they’re very sweet and sickly but it’s proper homemade tasty fudge and the price is totally worth it.
