Played golf here at the weekend and I can't praise this golf club enough. A wonderful course that really tests you, especially the tee shot on the par 5, you have to keep your nerve. The greens are a real compliment to the green staff as they hold well and run well. After the golf I met up with my wife and children for lunch in the clubhouse as we had heard that you can have a carvery on a Sunday and can only say that it rates as one of the best we have had. Our compliments to the chef and catering staff and also to Gail (owner) and Richard (manager) on making us all feel very welcome and we look forward to coming again very soon

Had a lesson with Paul, was brilliant, easy guy to talk to, we used an electronic gadget called GC2, this tells you loads of information that helped me improve my swing immediately! He regripped all my clubs for a fair price. Just a shame I can’t carry him in golf bag and fetch him out for every shot I do! I would recommend him! Thank you Paul

We had been shopping at the Carlton Centre and found a sign for this nature reserve. Had a brief walk around and will return for a longer visit now we know where it is. A lovely haven for wildlife and the best time to visit is between April and July. Dogs are not allowed here and it was very pleasant walking around listening to the bird song.
