Das IKOB ist das einzige Kunstmuseum in der deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft Belgiens. 1993 wurde im deutschsprachigen Eupen in Belgien das "IKOB - Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst" durch Francis Feidler gegründet. Seit dem Jahre 2000 hat es ein eigenes größeres Domizil in der Eupener Innenstadt und widmet seitdem mit vier Wechselausstellungen im Jahr der aktuellen Kunst und ihren vielschichtigen Tendenzen. Daneben bieten die neuen Räumlichkeiten Platz, um in Intervallen größere Teile der eigenen, für Freunde der aktuellen Kunst sicherlich sehenswerten Sammlung, zu zeigen.
