Due to construction works the Arabian Coffee Tree Museum is temporarily closed. Germany’s oldest cafe is located in the heart of Leipzig’s historic city centre. Since 1711, coffee, the Saxons’ favourite drink, has been served here. The house takes its name “THE ARABIC COFFEE TREE” from the extraordinary building emblem on its facade. In the historic rooms of the cafe on the ground floor, the visitor can see where many famous guests once sat - and can imagine them being there.
