Tailors shop by day, illustrious gin bar by night - the 20s are back, and the speakeasy is open! Offering the perfect measure in both men’s fashion styling and bespoke gin, Tailors, is a concept store with a difference. A decadent 1920’s gin bar, with frivolities, costume rails and jazz on the gramophone - This is a gin bar with a difference!

The Watermark is a home bar project, which started out as two bartenders living together and bringing their work home with them. A bar inspired by their home and shared ethos for hospitality. A brand focused on collaborating with other bars and their bartenders. Piece by piece the home bar was relocated to begin its next chapter inside this building and now here you are to be part of it. YAMAS!
What a cool, chilled place! A very relaxed atmosphere with great background music. Cocktails and drinks are excellent with small plates to share some nibbles! The place really stands out and is defined by the suave, sophisticated and smooth easy going staff! We went on recommendation and I now pass on that recommendation to you! If you want a relaxed time with engaging staff look no further a must when in Leeds! Enjoy!

Discover Leeds’ original Speakeasy, The Maven, and experience the city’s best-loved Prohibition-style party. Go beyond the hidden doors at No1 Call Lane and up the staircase lies something beautifully unique - charming 1920s décor, gramophone light shades and eccentric art on wood-paneled walls – providing the perfect escape from the streets below. Where the city’s leading mixologists create award-winning drink concoctions, a discerning crowd gathers for a post-work tipple or late-night party and an eclectic soundtrack has everyone on their feet dancing until 4am. The Maven is Roaring ‘20s escapism at its finest, a secret bar that has you talking for days.
This was the highlight of our visit. We booked in to have a drink before we left Leeds, we were the only people in there ,and where normally I'd prefer a full house for the vibe, I'm so glad we were! Josh was amazing, genuinely outstanding. He spent time with us, guided us through the cocktails and his passion for cocktail art was clear..we went for one drink, was taken back by the qaulity of the menu, stayed for another, then josh's enthusiasm was so infectious we stayed for another just to try his own creations. The bar is beautiful, the qaulity of the drinks amazing, but Josh sold it, to the point where we debated getting a hotel for the night just to have another drink rather than go home. His whiskey sour was the best we've ever had! And his own Spicy jamaican inspired mix had us sold..really really impressed and would come back in a heartbeat just for the service and qaulity we experienced today from him.

An underground bar with live Jazz, Blues, Funk and Soul serving exceptional drinks. Hidden behind Lord's Barbering in The Grand Arcade Leeds.
Easily one of the best bars in Leeds. Live music every night they're open which never disappoints. Fantastic cosy booths with table service & sitting at the bar leaves you astounded with the sheer knowledge and skill of the staff. The menu is expansive and interesting leaving you spoilt for choice. Really great to see some classic cocktails on the menu with a particular favourite being the Jungle Bird - A must have if you're a lover of Campari & Tiki. Paying for entry on weekends has always felt worth it but definitely advisable to get there early if you're looking for a table!

The Drake is a gem of a pub, with an array of excellent cask ales and a quality beer garden, couple that in with the warm and relaxed atmosphere the Landlord, staff and local patrons create, and you have the best pub in the greater Leeds area. The ales on change regularly, but there are always a few old favourites on. During the winter theres a nice fire going, and in the summer the occasional BBQ is put on. Not to mention the main draw card which is (almost) nightly live music acts. This pub has got something for everyone and is definitely worth checking out if your in the area.
