I have stayed at NRO about 20 times since I was in high school (20 years ago). We've always had a great time here. This time we stayed in cabin #1, and it sleeps 16. There were 18 in our group, and I was concerned about not having enough room, but it was perfect. There was a perfect little spot for a blow up mattress. My bed wasn't comfortable at all, but doable for 2 nights. We brought some of our own towels, and I'm glad we did, we would have run out. In the summer, it gets pretty crazy on the weekends. I would not bring kids to float on this river on the weekend, unless you are ok with them seeing hundreds of drunk people (of all ages), and maybe the occasional set of boobs. We did see water patrol once monitoring on the river bank, but they didn't bother anybody. As long as you aren't fighting or being a complete moron, you will be fine. Saw a few poor people puking over the side of their boats. My suggestion...drink some water or a Gatorade after every few beers! If you are doing the 7 mile float and stop to hang out on the rock shores, expect it to take about 7 hours or so. We took 4 people that had never floated before, and they had a blast!
