Very nice brewery and very friendly staff!! They always have a great selection of beer on tap to drink and try. You can always do a flight of beers.

I’ve been a fan of Voodoo Brewery since their initial opening in Meadville, so naturally I was ecstatic when the Homestead location opened up a few years ago. This unique location offers a one-of-a kind atmosphere: an old fire station turned in to a brewery. There’s the hole in the ceiling where the fireman’s pole used to be, old CPR mannequins stuffed in to a barrel with a glass table top, the massive garage doors to allow the engines out (which they open in the warmer weather); and old boots, helmets, and hoses on display. Their craft beer selection is especially wonderful if you love Belgian Triples and pale ale ales, but there’s something for everyone on their semi-rotating draft list. The Love Child - almost always available and my personal favorite - is a smooth fruity 9.5% Belgian Tripel that goes down way too easily. The Gran Met is another classic, at 9.2% it’s also a Belgian Tripel, and interestingly enough they age this beer on cherries, passion fruit, and raspberries to yield the Love Child. They also have a little kitchen in the back with a rotating menu. This time they had burgers, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and a chicken poke-bowl. Last time we went, they were serving pizza. Though their selections for food are limited, we’ve never had a bad meal there. Pictured: Unicorn Farts, 8.2% New England IPA

Family owned brewery on the banks of the Youghiogheny river in the Picturesque town of West Newton. Now selling pints and filling growlers. Food trucks every day and live music on Saturdays. Cheers
Love their beers & huge selection. They have some really interesting sours (infused with sauerkraut, guava aged in barrels, etc). It's a fun place to unwind & watch the Youghigheny River flow by after a long day of biking on the GAP!
