McCarran Aviation Museum

Reviewed By pparrothead - Wilmington, United States

I have flown into and out of McCarran Airport at least 30 plus times and each time it seems like I pass the Howard Cannon Aviation Museum. It is a small museum located on the concourse that overlooks the baggage carousels. There are a number of real nice displayed items including an old Ford Thunderbird and small private airplane suspended from the ceiling. There are also many historical photos and articles relating to the airport in its early years. The McCarran Aviation Museum is worth a stop when passing by in McCarran Airport...Even if it is just for 15 to 20 minutes or so....If you are an aviation buff you will enjoy what it has to offer.
