Atlas mountains and imlil day trip is one of the most spectacular day trips from Marrakech if you desire to get out of the city and delve in the authentic and rural side of Morocco. We will start our Imlil day trip at 09am from Marrakech by a 4WD vehicle or mini van for 1h30 drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, and the berber village of Asni very popular for its weekly market every Saturday then to Imlil Crossing a vibrant green valley that stays fresh and lush even during the hottest days of the summer. Imlil is a small village at the foothills of the highest mountains in Morocco Toubkal mountain. We shall stop at Aroumd to visit this rather singular village in the Assif Aït Mizane Valley, built seemingly house upon house on a large moraine spur, Afterwards you can take a short walk before we return to Imlil where we left our van than transfer back again to Marrakech by a other direction to Marrakech.

Inclusions: • Transport from and to Marrakech, • English French speaking guide, • Lunch in local House in High Atlas Mountains , tea in berber house with locals

Exclusions: • Travel insurance

A great experience to travel through the High Mountains Tikcha, see these emblematic sites of Morocco. Our guide was wonderful. Very friendly, spacious and confident that our experience there was well planned so that we can make the most of our day. Loved all the imperial cities, but it is essential to see the barbarian life and the amazing landscapes.

The misrepresentation of the original tour description was flagrant. We were quite enthusiastic to book based on the description, expecting a full day of guided wonder. It turned out we paid for a car and driver and a “guide” who expected us to pay for all the entrance fees and could barely express himself in English! Other than timely drop offs and pick ups, not much to show for a bunch of wasted money! Avoid this big lie!

6. All-inclusive Marrakech Day Tour to Essaouira mogador

Start the trip to Essaouira from Marrakech at 8 AM, the mountain range of the Atlas, whose peaks are recently covered with snow, on the right, threatening clouds is thickening. Near a plantation of argan we stop to take some photos of greedy goats’ intent on feeding the seeds of argan in the branches of a tree.

We had a wonderful day! Using a private tour - really just your group - makes sense, especially if you’re a family with young kids. We had total freedom to take a break, change our itinerary, take our lunch at leisure. Badre, our guide, was knowledgeable, patient and kind. He arranged for the guide to take us on the hike and even lent us cash, when we fell short (for lunch, at the village) Thanks!
