Things to do in Lake Garda, Lake Garda: The Best Stand-Up Paddleboarding

January 14, 2022 Nobuko Falco

The largest of Italy’s fresh-water lakes, Lake Garda is located in northeast Italy. Tourists traveling here will find plenty of excursions and activities to keep them entertained year-round—everything from visiting hilly wine regions to exploring 14th-century castles. The towns and communities surrounding Lake Garda offer easy day trips from Venice, easily accessible by car or train. Major sights include the towns of Sirmione (which attracts most Lake Garda visitors thanks to its historic Rocca Scaligiera castle) and Riva del Garda (for the Varone waterfalls located nearby), as well as the region’s hills, which offer numerous hiking trails for adventurous walkers.

360 Gardalife Booking

Mountain and water sports available in one place even on the same day, can you imagine? The possibilities for fun are endless in this unique location. The largest of italian lakes thanks to constant and varied winds it has a solid reputation as the Mecca of kitesurf, of windsurf and of sailing. If water does not turn you on we have hills and mountains over 2000 metres high. We don't know exactly how many kilometres of pathways and trails there are. Not to mention the over 500 bolted climbing routes just in Trentino. It is normal here to practice more than one sport in one day. And when you have had enough of sport you can relax on the beach or enjoy an aperitif in one of the many bars by the lake or in one of the narrow streets of the historic centres. 360gardalife is outdoor sports, respect for nature, passion, friendship and lengthy chats about sport. 360gardalife is a way of life. We’re sure that you will love it.
