La Palma is a pristine paradise, set against a backdrop of volcanic landscape. Perhaps the best way to experience La Palma’s rugged beauty is a hike through the Caldera de Taburiente National Park or the narrow gorges of Los Tilos. The cool waters of natural swimming hole Charco Azul beckon on a steamy day. The dark sands of Playa Nueva are great for sunbathing and cat naps.

It was a nice experience. You could see that Manuela takes care of customer’s safety and every person in the center is friendly. We went out snorkeling with a Spanish man (I probably will not be able to spell his name right, so I will not) and snorkeling with him exceeded our expectations. We snorkel quite a bit ourselves on our vacations but never go far from a bay where we start as we do not know the areas well. Here we went actually some distance from the bay where we started and saw a lot of marine life. And he carried the softboard in case some of us gets tired in the waves. We did not need it in the end, but it was nice to know that it is there. He also told us about what we saw after a tour and treated us with bananas :) thank you! It was really nice!

The Mirador del Roque de los Muchachos is the quintessential viewpoint of the Island and is located at the highest point of La Palma at 2,426 meters above sea level. The name of Roque de Los Muchachos comes from the shape of it, as they are a series of small roques about 3 meters high, which resemble a group of boys. From there you can see an impressive view of the National Park of La Caldera de Taburiente, where depending on the weather conditions it is possible to see the other three islands of the province (Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro).

Stargazing under the night sky La Palma. Best climatic conditions due to its location in the Atlantic Ocean. Low humidity or dry air offer ideal conditions for a transparent night sky. Different climatic zones offer alternatives in case of possible climatic fluctuations, e.g. Clouds or cloudy air. Access and use of 2 professional telescopes: 1 Maksutov Skywalker reflector telescope, 8 "primary mirror. 1 600mm Skywalker lens telescope. Both telescopes mounted on an equatorial mount. Theming the solar system and its closest neighbors. Distances and distances of the objects. Description of the constellations and constellations with laser pointer. Due to the geographical location of La Palma, there is often the opportunity to see large parts of our galaxy, the Milky Way.
