Topnotch golf courses, art galleries and seals share the dramatic oceanside landscape of La Jolla, an affluent community 15 minutes from downtown San Diego. Swimmers, snorkelers and kayakers dip into La Jolla Cove, where the protected waters shield an abundance of bright orange Garibaldi fish and sea caves indent the cliffs. The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, the family-friendly Birch Aquarium and the acclaimed La Jolla Playhouse deliver breaks from the sun.

I took friends to Kellogg Park after a lovely walk along LJ Shores Beach and they just loved seeing all the kids and families enjoying picnics, playing frisbee, and playing at the playground. This is such a great family place. Beach and grass, leisure or active, water and land, family or solo.... something for all.

Just for laughs: this club features a comedy show nightly with an open microphone on Sundays.
We went to see Fortune Feimster for my birthday and we had a great time! She was amazing!!! We got great seats and our server was really nice and attentive. Usually Comedy Club service is horrible, but not here. The only thing that was not funny about my experience was the doorman. He had no personality, and did not make you feel welcome to be there. Excellent Comedy Club otherwise!
