Amongst an entertaining day, highlight for us was Combarro and linked estuary cruise. Beautiful scenery, watching dolphins, lunch of very fresh oysters and mussels. Saw a lot. Understand how hard it must be for the guide though. Spanish and English in same group. Two explanations, twice the time. Or more for one group less the other. That said, a fun day

We had a brilliant time on the tour to Covadonga Lakes. The day was full and well worth the money. Our guide spoke good English and was very informative and friendly. We saw many places and stopped at lovely cafes for coffee breaks. Truly recommend! ????
The adventure does not have to end in Santiago! It can be the beginning of a new path to the sea if we start the Camino de Finisterre. This Way is much more than a simple prolongation of the Way. It comes from the Celtic and Roman tradition, at a time when there was a popular belief that Finisterre was the End of the Earth (hence its name). It is a route that is very well marked. You can ask for your diploma when you arrive in Finisterre. This diploma is known as "Finisterrana", and if you continue to Muxía "Muxiana".

Wonderful experience if you've got a 3+ day trip planned to Catalonia. You'll meet up and take a 45-ish minute bus ride to up to Montserrat and go on a tour of the monastery and have a chance to buy some premium products (olive oils, liqueurs, etc.). You'll get some free time to explore on your own and then ride the train down the mountain to a local ranch where you'll get paired up with your horse. It was my first time riding a horse in about 15-20 years, but they made it as easy as possible. The horse tour through the country side lasts somewhere between 1-2 hours and the views are breathtaking.
