My husband and I moved to Kyoto from America, and are both huge history buffs. I studied ancient cultures and religions while attending university, so being able to live at the base of such a sacred mountain means the world to me! I can speak and read Japanese (I have the international Japanese profiency test level 3) I’m deeply interested in Japanese history and culture, I read many books about Japanese history and traditions. I work as a guide and language teacher, I think is great to hear many things from local people and to exchange it with visitants.
