The cultural hub of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is visually defined by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, which, at 88 stories high, are the tallest twin buildings in the world and a vision of modern architecture. On the flip side, the Sri Mahamariamman is the oldest Hindu temple in Malaysia, its façade a colorful totem pole of iconography. Shopping at the Central Market is a joyful experience that involves haggling, handicrafts, and happiness.

Second tome to this pewter factory so we just got a taxi to it and was greeted by a very nice guide Gloria who know we were on a tight schedule so gave us our very own tour, she was very informative and quite funny which is always nice. We bought numerous items in the shop which we had planned to get all done in half an hour which was fantastic, great work Gloria ????

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is Malaysia’s premier award-winning purpose-built facility and Asia’s only AIPC (International Association of Congress Centres) Gold Standard venue. Located in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre integrated precinct, the venue offers over 22,000sqm of flexible function space. Overlooking the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers and 50-acre KLCC Park, delegates and visitors attending events at the Centre have a varied range of recreational, entertainment, food & beverage and accommodation options within the 100-acre ‘city within a city’ KLCC development.
I visited the KLCC Convention Centre to attend an international trade fair / expo. The place itself was clean and secure, and had all the basics and amenities that were typical of any venues for trade fairs. What was exceptional was the location. It was right in the city center, within the immediate vicinity of the iconic Petronas Towers and KLCC Park. Steps ahead was the Aquaria KLCC. Thus, major tourist attractions were right beside the venue, Any visitor could just enjoy a late afternoon or evening stroll in the park and enjoy the views after attending whatever event that was being held in the convention center, and later on have a good meal and shopping spree at the Suria KLCC.

Wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of K L with many illustrations and picturesque photos. There was also a sound and light show depicting all the skyscrapers and surrounding areas of K L. Very well organised exhibits and interesting displays of the highest buildings and future skyscrapers in the pipeline. There is also a cafe inside the premises, where you can use your admission ticket to redeem for some Malaysian delicacies such as ice kachang with chendol or sample the famous Musang( King of the durian variety) cake beautifully made in the shape of a green durian with its sharp spikes and centre consists of a sponge base. Very yummy taste.
