The southern Thailand town of Krabi serves as base camp for exploring the province of the same name, a lush region of jungles, limestone cliffs and idyllic isles floating just offshore in the Andaman Sea. Buddhist shrines still used by local monks are tucked into the chambers of the town's top attraction, Tiger Cave. The riverside pier links travelers with ferries and longboats to the best scuba diving, rock climbing and white sand beaches on the coast.

You have to remove your footwear to go inside. dont worry, the flooring is spotless clean! The Catholic Sunday mass was at 10am, in Thai. The church is near Ao Nang town. There is a small grotto of Mary of as well. The church is small but not without character. There is a choir during the mass too with great hymns although all in Thai.

Spirit Mountain Krabi is all about climbing, nature, sustainability, community, wellness, and healing. The perfect place to relax, share experiences, and climb with friends. It's ideal for families. Spirit Mountain Krabi is located at the base of Spirit Mountain and besides all the activities available, there are also accommodation and a restaurant available on sight.

This temple complex not only serves as a religious site for the monks who live and worship there, but also features a maze of natural caves in an overgrown jungle valley where stone tools, pottery remains and the mold for making Buddha footprints have been excavated.
What a physical exercise that ended with stunning views at the top of tiger cave mountain. About 1260 steep steps, equivalent of 300m height or 600m walk, this activity is definitely recommended for those who are looking for strenuous activity in Krabi. Definitely recommend but be ready for sweaty evening. Start at 5pm and be there by 6pm to get a clear sunset view. Carry plenty of water to stay hydrated but you will get filtered cold water tap at the top of the hill. People bring drones as well for a clear sky experience. We thoroughly enjoyed this and would do it again next time we are in Krabi.

Take a long tail boat and head off on a most enjoyable trip. Stopped at caves and then meandered through thick mangrove forest, absolutely beautiful. Nature at it's best. Finish the trip at the Mangrove Restaurant.

We are a muay thai gym located in Ao Nang Beach, krabi. We train beginners and professionals, all our trainers are thai and experienced , they are or used to be professional fighters.
I trained 12 private lessons at Emerald with Wil, I cannot speak highly enough of Wil and his coaching. I am a complete beginner and I feel so much more confident now and can’t wait to continue my training back home. Whether you are a beginner or advanced fighter, you will learn a lot from Wil, he is extremely knowledgable and a great guy. Definitely check out Emerald, you will not regret it. Thanks again Wil, hope to return one day ????

After a challenging climb you get to see an amazing view as a reward, it’s one of the essentials things to do in Railey island because let us face it a trip won’t be a trip without a little adventure..

This is one dive shop that treated us not like clients but like warm loved family members. From the booking at their Ao Nang beach road shop to the pick up next morning at 7.30.. To the welcome on their boat at the pier.. It was all done in a manner that left us feeling special. FON our dive master is perhaps the only THAI girl who's doing a dive master's job in Krabi. She's truly as her name suggests.. FUN to be with.. She made us feel immediately welcome and handled our group with a meticulous eye for every small detail.. As well as put us at complete ease with regard to any special needs or requirements some of us may have had on the dive. The two hour cruise to Phi Phi Islands itself was a treat.. It's a really large boat with two main decks.. Three levels in all.. Very comfortable with enough breakfast, lunch, tea, and rehydrating liquids on board. I'd say even without the diving just the two hours to the island and two hours return were great cruises. As far as the dives were concerned the water was thirty degrees with roughly ten meter visibility. The marine life was varied and the coral fairly colorful. Overall a good fun dive experience. Of course our dive master FON was highly alert on the dive and always in full control and that made for a reassuring dive experience, specially for the two novice divers we had in the group . The equipment used by Kontiki was almost new and in excellent condition. I'd say kudos to her for her briefing, set up, overall hospitality and warm friendly yet professional approach to all in her group. We felt truly satisfied with the entire experience. Keep up the good work Kontiki and hopefully there will be more lady dive masters soon like FON in the future.

Please wear proper hiking shoes! It is not just a walk in the park. There will be some challenging spots with slippery and rocky climbing. My family is used to hiking and some spots made us a bit nervous. But it is totally doable. My six year old son did it . It took us 2 hours up , 30 minutes on top and 2 hours back. Due to several stops for the kiddo. Make sure to check the forecast before and on the day of climbing. Have at least a litre of water per person, snacks, sun and mosquito protection and a small first aid kit. Come as early as you can. Make sure to have a tip of 100B per person for the rangers upon return when you check out. Not obligatory, but it’s a custom) overall - an amazing hike for my family.

This is a great place to visit but a little off the Western Tourist map. Hopefully this review will act as a guide: Access is off the main 4034 road in Ban Khao Klom. Keep an eye out for the Krabi International School sign and take the small road between the Minute Mart and the local school. A couple of KM along the road on you left will be 300m, 200m and 100m signs in Thai - not very helpful I grant you but just look out for the numbers then there's a massive sign, turn left just before the sign. You'll think it's someone's drive but have faith! There are a couple of parking spaces to the left and a dirt track going into the jungle. Now you really do need to have faith and keep going. Yes, it's bumpy. Drive slowly. After about 500m just when you're beginning to panic and wonder if you will ever come out alive the road opens up to a large parking area. You've made it! Look for a little path going past a gazebo on the side of a house. Someone will come out and relieve you of 50 baht (non Thai) or 20 baht if you're Thai. Please don't be offended by the price difference, it isn't meant in a nasty way, it's just how things are at many attractions over here. Hey, try living on a Thai wage!! Oh, I meant to say, before you get to the entrance fee gazebo there are a couple of western style toilets as you walk away from the car park in a concrete building to your right. Now is the time to use them. Having paid your money it's time to earn that view. You start off climbing some rough concrete steps. Pace yourself. In total the walk is going to take 5 or 10 minutes. At the top of the steps there's a little seating area and also some basic huts you can rent overnight with an amazing view over the valley below. Carry on, the track bears round to the left. You're now walking on slightly uneven but solid ground. Just keep going. Eventually you come to a signpost. Straight on to some toilets (I think they are Thai squatters but I didn't investigate thoroughly), right for everything else. You walk past a small restaurant area then up to the viewing platforms. There is also a Muslim prayer room. The views are stunning. You can look towards the sun rise across a vast Krabi Valley with mountains rising up in the distance or you can look West towards the sunset and Phang Nga bay with Khao Yao Noi in the distance. Aim to arrive just before sunrise (they open from 5:30am). Early mornings are good because it's cool for the walk up and if you arrive after it's rained there will be a covering of mist down bellow you as the sun heats up the land. Having taken a million photos you've earned a little breakfast treat. They do coffee, fried churro / doughnuts things (Pa Thong Ko) with condensed milk, Thai food and some western bits and bobs. It isn't expensive so fill your boots and experiment. There are some tents at the top which you can rent if you feel inclined and if you wanted to pitch your own that is also possible. There is even a small BBQ. This is a great attraction and the result of some local ingenuity. It isn't expensive, they have tried hard to cater for everyone and deserve to be successful. It's also a nice way to integrate with local people if you're here on holiday. The day I went I was the only westerner, everyone else was Thai but everyone was friendly and we all enjoyed the amazing views helped each other with photos and so on.
