Based on TripAdvisor, I engaged Dino from Magical Croatia to pick us up from the Slano Marina and drive us to the airport. As we had a few spare hours to kill as our scheduled flight was delayed, we asked to make several stops on the way including a stop to see the old city of Dubrovnik, some panoramic sites and to go shopping all before we ended in the airport. Dino was prompt a courteous the car was clean and sufficiently spacious (we were a group of 5 with plenty of luggage). Dino, who speaks fluent English, made an extra effort to provide information along the way and explain the sites even though all we ordered was an airport transfer.

We did not have a direct bus line to a ski resort in Kolasin, so we chose this operator in order to transfer us there. There were 7 of us, two families, 3 teens in a minivan which was really comfortable. The driver offered us some snacks, and the kids liked it. All in all, a short and safe drive to Kolasin and Bjelasica mountain. We used the same service on our way back to Podgorica airport.

I booked the "All About Mussels" tour with the Kotor Bay Tours (KBT) booking team as an excursion on our cruise stop in Kotor. The team was quick to respond to all of my inquiries and was very accommodating to all of my various requests. They also never rushed us to anything and kept us on time to ensure we didn't miss our boat. This tour was one of the best we had during our entire trip. BOOKING DETAILS: I booked a few months ahead to ensure our preferred timing, but our boat ended up scheduled to arrive earlier than expected. When I found out, I found wifi in Dubrovnik and was frantically emailing KBT to help reschedule. The KBT team gave me no push back and moved everything to flex to our reschedule. I also asked KBT if they could add a walking tour to our mussel tour and they were able to tack it on as a discount. This worked perfectly because we worked up an appetite in a short walking-tour and boat ride before gobbling down all-you-can-eat mussels. After we were full, they taxied us back to the tendering area with plenty of time to shop for souvenirs before getting back on the boat. TOUR DETAILS: We were about 10 min late due to long tendering lines. When we arrived at the city gate, the guide was patiently waiting. He took us into the city and was very informative about the history and specific landmarks. After the brief walking tour, we hopped onto a private water taxi and headed to Our Lady of the Rocks. I have to say that a private taxi was way worth it when we saw how slow and cramped the waterbuses were. After the church visit, we took another short boat ride to a cozy shack on the shore with a tiny beach. They were already steaming piles of mussels when we arrived and within 15 min, we were all scarfing them down. KTB was also considerate to provide one of our family members with some deliciously seasoned chicken due to his shellfish allergy. We enjoyed our fill and took our time to enjoy the beautiful scenery on a sunny day. Once we were ready, we took the 10-15 min taxi ride back to shore. Everything about this tour was excellent. I cannot recommend it enough.
