Dream Tours Japan was born out of the idea of giving people the feeling of being connected with the destination in every facet of the tour. Whether it be from the on board commentary, insights into daily Japanese life, historical and important information of each attraction, cultural experiences, Japanese food and drink tastings as well as personal opinions and facts about what it is truly life to live as an expat in this weird and wonderful country we call Japan. We have happily hired Nagasaki tour guide Shannon Lefebvre for our two visits to Japan and have recommended him to others. Yes, you'll see the usual tourist sights, but he also offers delightful off-the-beaten path experiences, such as having a picnic lunch amid cherry blossoms (when they're blooming) or visiting an unusual hotel where the front desk "receptionists" are robots. His tours are highly recommended.

Daruma was fun to make and a meaningful souvenir to bring home. The local area is very beautiful, and Keiko-san was kind enough to recommend what to do in the area.
Enjoy the western architecture and variety shops with the sea breeze Mojikoeki is the entrance to the luxurious port. It remains as a commercial business, you can enjoy yaki-curry elegantly in a luxurious building, and also admire the architecture. However, if you take an average trip, you will end up with only architecture sights. That won’t be enough! There are historical backgrounds and details to each building, galleries and stores within, railway theme parks and many more to explore! With an otomo tour guide, you’re sure to find the charm of this city!

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.
Enjoy a half-day tour of this ancient castle town with a local guide. When speaking of Fukuoka, Hakata is more famous, but did you know Kokura has Japan's only TOTO toilet museum, spots rich with samurai and traditions, and fresh local produce and regional cuisine?
