The Kansai region (関西地方, Kansai-chihō) or the Kinki region (近畿地方, Kinki-chihō) lies in the southern-central region of Japan's main island Honshū. The region includes the prefectures of Mie, Nara, Wakayama, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyōgo and Shiga, sometimes Fukui, Tokushima and Tottori. While the use of the terms "Kansai" and "Kinki" have changed over history, in most modern contexts the use of the two terms is interchangeable. The urban region of Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto (Keihanshin region) is the second-most populated in Japan after the Greater Tokyo Area.

Taka is amazing! I have back problems and tend to suffer from tense neck muscles and constant shoulder pain. It got worse during our trip to Japan, as I had to carry a heavy back pack. I also couldn't sleep for a week, due to jet lag. I spent 45 mins in Taka's clinic and felt completely reborn! No back pain, and most importantly, my sleep returned back to normal! Thank you so much Taka for your help!!!

If you are a tourist or resident in Japan who is hit by sudden trouble, such as backache, neck pain, knee joint pain, and so on, please feel free to contact us. We'll do our utmost so you can continue your trip and daily life! We speak English.
My girlfriend and I visited Mr. Masayama to receive the combination treatment for one hour each. We were amazed by the quality of the treatment. He has an acute knowledge of the body and was able to diagnose both of us quickly and accurately. After our treatment, we felt rejuvenated; the aches and pains of backpacking the south of Japan were alleviated. Unfortunately, we found Mr. Masayama's clinic on the last day of our time in Kyoto. We would definitely return if we had more time. We highly recommend visiting his clinic. One more thing; his clinic and most of the shops and restaurants in the surrounding area only accept cash. We'll see you the next time we're in Kyoto.

There are outdoor bath and indoor bath provided. It's a superb deal... I went to Kurama just for the autumn leaves and decided to have a spontaneous bath. Really happy I gave it a try. It's public but when I was there on a weekday, there were no more than 5 people. It isn't a big place, but good enough for me. For a real japanese experience yet not costing you much, this is the place to go. Tips for anyone who stay in Kyoto area for 3 days up : go get yourself a Kansai Thru pass, it will save a lot for the transport. Especially you will visit many spots in Kyoto where they are usually far from each other.

Kinosaki Onsen is a traditional Japanese hot spring town located 2.5 hours from Kyoto and Osaka by JR express train. The town boasts 7 public hot springs and over 80 ryokans (traditional inns). Guests staying a ryokan get a free pass to the onsens. They can experience wearing traditional yuakta and strolling around this quaint town.
I visited this venue after seeing it on NHK I can say it definitely feels like it’s gone back in time. It has at least seven onsens If you stay in the hotels in the area you get a pass which can visit all 7 for free. The shops offer different things for sale but they can be quite expensive as they are handmade items. The restaurant is closed at two different times once it will close around 5 pm and the other set opens around 8 pm and closes at 11 They seem to be old time activities to do like shooting corks out of a gun to get prizes It is Worth coming here especially during night time as it is beautiful and if your hotel allows it as mine wanted, you can wear the traditional Japanese garments to walk around the streets in The train station is called Kinosaki And if you have the JR pass the trip is mostly going to be free for you via train
