Haew Narok Waterfall

Reviewed By Raintree_Thailand - Bangkok, Thailand

Haew Narok Waterfall is hugely impressive -- IF you visit in rainy season! The amount of water thundering over the rocks is incredible and the drop is high enough to be very memorable. But a few warnings: 1. In dry season, the "falls" reduce to a trickle and there is really no reason to bother hiking to them. 2. The 1-kilometer trail going to the upper point of the falls is paved and very easy walking, but you don't see any part of the falls from the upper drop point. 3. The only way to actually see the falls is to climb down the steep steps (100+) to the view points below the falls. Some visitors who not in shape or who are concerned by steep steps, may find the climb down and back up to be more than they want to bite off, but the climb should be manageable for most people. The stairs are solid concrete and there are good handrails. 4. In rainy season, the mist from the falls is heavy and you will get a bit wet, with glasses, phones and cameras at risk of being soaked. 5. Rainy season is the time for leaches and, allow the park staff keep the trail swept pretty clean, you may encounter leaches now and then. Watch out for them and try to brush off before they start their lunch.

Khao Luk Chang Bat Cave

Reviewed By Johnmagfam - Singapore, Singapore

Tip: arrive earlier in December as sun sets earlier during year end. We arrived 5.45pm thinking the bat would not start streaming till 6.30pm but it started about 6.15pm. All the reviews here are accurate so no point repeating, however has to say that even local drivers are not too familiar. My driver was from Bangkok and he has to call back his colleagues for direction. Feeling annoyed I typed "Batcave road" and the same Batcave viewing road came up and we were assured we were at right place. So google map works here, of course u must have data and GPS turned on. Must see because it's a natural phenomena and even zoos unlikely can create such feat!! Can they? Maybe.

The Bloom By TV Pool

Reviewed By 529dominicc - Singapore, Singapore

We planned to PB Wine Valley but it needed pre-reservation. Therefore we just dropped by this garden which is also highly recommended by Trip Advisor. No regret to come here as they have a better sunflower field. There are also other flowers and photo spots. Entry fee is THB100 each but they have buggy service with THB20 each. Other than this there is other package incl coffee or lunch. However we chose entry fee with buggy at THB120 each. Tip: The buggy stopped us at the sunflower and other flower field which we spent about 10 minutes for photography. After that the buggy sent us to the terminal where we spend 15-20 minutes for photography. Overall, it took is about an hour (incl waiting for buggy).
