The people who run this are very nice, would highly recommend this for anyone. This was our first kayak adventure on a river and it went great. We had been on a lake, but going down the river beats that any day.

This 1/2 mile loop is very well maintained all down in decking. It makes for a great walking surface with only slight incline in one area and minor areas where not flat. The path is two people wide and left nature intact. Very nice area to observe the unique nature and there is wildlife running about as in chimpmunks, squirrels, rabbits and snakes. Turtles and deer are possible also to my knowledge. Nice peaceful scenic walk. There are bugs of course so some spray depending on your desire could be handy. Nice clean well maintained parking is available. Highly enjoyed as long as you know what it is before going. Easy in and out.
We offer outings on our group cycles, including pub crawls, family outings and corporate team building. All outings start and finish at MadCap Brew Company. Bring your favorite beverages and snacks and a playlist to play on our Bluetooth speakers and enjoy a fabulous 2-hour group outing on our unique Spider Bikes!

I either start this path in downtown Kent across from sheetz gas station, or I start it in Brady lake in the area with the small parking lot near beckwith apple orchard. The trail passes by the apple orchard, then onto towners woods (great hiking trails) and continues even further past that. The opposite direction takes you into Kent and eventually down by the water. Plenty of shade that direction. Path is paved and very easy to walk or bike.
