Relaxing and pristine Kauai (the Garden Island) is the least commercially developed of the Hawaiian islands. Waterfalls, scenic drives and more than 60 beaches dot the landscape. Some beaches have great snorkeling, others offer child-friendly tidal pools and some are perfect for all kinds of water sports. Dry-land activities include hiking the Kalalau Trail on the Na Pali coastline, taking a day trip to Waimea Canyon and experiencing life on a sugar plantation at Grove Farm Homestead Museum.

Growing up on Kauai Mazzarella was fortunate enough to spend countless hours soaking up the true spirit of Kauai. Not only natures beauty, but the people who make the island truly one of a kind. Mazzarella feels his work is a collaboration of the pride of the people and the local heritage that soars through the trees and towers over the mountain peaks, thus protecting the islands integrity.

We had been looking for a piece of local art to commemorate our wedding in Koloa. We'd searched through the 'high end' tourist art galleries, and throughout the roadside markets. Fish Eye Kauai's art offerings were eye catching, through their storefront window - as we strolled past on the sidewalk. Glad to have found this studio and Abe Kowitz' koa wood art. We would have loved to buy 10 more pieces, it's just that gorgeous, along with all the underwater photography on display. The gal who was working that day was helpful with tips for preserving and transporting our piece.

Right next to the Post Office in the town of Waimea on the island of Kauai. Our building has a salmon colored exterior and inside you will find an art gallery (all local artists). Further back you will find the coffee and espresso bar, serving up the best on the island! We also have a washroom for your convenience.
I have been coming here whenever I am on island and the coffee is always A number 1. Candy is extremely kind and knowledge about the island. Don’t miss this great coffee shop and gallery with great artwork.
