Cauvery Sai Dhama

Situated right on the banks of river Cauvery, this is a Sai Mandir where you can experience the divine first hand! On one side of our Sai Mandir stands the 150 year old Omkareswara Temple of Lord Shiva and on the other side stands the 325 year old shrine of Vanadevata. The Dhuni or sacred fire has been kept burning at the temple continuously for over a decade. The Dhuni's original embers were brought from the Dhuni of Shirdi and consecrated here.

Birth place of River Kaveri, Tala Kaveri temple is located on top of Bhramagiri hills. The temple worships Kaveri river and has separate idols for Lord Ganesha, Agasteshwarar and Kaveri amma. A small yet beautiful temple, a must visit and if you are Kodagu area. We drove from Virajpet and the drive was wonderful. It felt as if we had large swathes of road just for ourselves.
