I was coming to the Hobby Place for pottery classes during my stay in Mysore and I totally fell in love with it! Each of my friends who visited the place loves it as well! My dearest teacher mrs Manju is super kind and cheerful person, she made me enjoy every moment there and create my first clay pots❤️ She puts her heart to her job which is totally her passion! Cannot wait to come back there.

I should say that this place has created lovely and unforgettable memories for myself and my family. Not to mention a must see place for any type of traveller. First and foremost, I really appreciate the thought and vision of this whole project. The effort and dedication required to procur, transport, rebuild and maintain these masterpieces is unimaginable. All so that future generations know our past way of life and culture. It is gift to all Indians and on a second thought to entire humanity. It is beyond my vocabulary to share my feelings and amazement when I saw this place. Just to make sure I grasp a glimpse of everything there, I and my family went there twice and have had a lovely memorable, enjoyable couple of days. One of the best places that I have visited in my life and am sure everyone visiting this place would agree with me.

Visvesvaraya Museum is fun for children and adults. It houses a treasure trove of machines and artifacts related to science and technology. Its interactive exhibits make this a great place for children to develop a love for science. There are exhibition Halls on Engines, Electricity, Fun Science, Space, Biotechnology & Electronics. Animated dinosaurs,life-size model of Wright Brothers' flyer and Steam locomotive are other attractions. There are interesting shows like 'Science on a sphere', 'Taramandal', '3d film show' and 'Science show' held at regular intervals. The 'Science for Kids' gallery is the new addition to the Museum. This is a place designed for tiny tots to play unhindered and engage with science.
Good learning for children, school children and even for adults ; as they see the practical way of science. Being it Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History, Mechanical, Electrical. Electronics, Biology, Space Science, etc, etc. Also you can buy student's learning science kits from the store inside the Museum. Certainly the museum will be Memorable, Impressive & Knowledgeable for all visitors. You'll need atleast 3 hours to visit all exhibits in a slow pace, otherwise 2 hours in fast pace.

Chitrakala Parishat is a renowned school of art in Bangalore, with an enviable alumni list. Located in a tree-lined campus, CKP — as it is popularly known — has a museum, a store and a gallery worth visiting. The gallery has rotating exhibits while the museum has permanent displays of paintings and crafts. CKP comes alive during its much-awaited fests: the annual Handicraft Mela and the Chitra Santhe (art market), both of which provide outlets for artists and craftsmen.
A nice place in a nice location which helps us unwind from the day to day rat race. Interesting collections and assured peace of mind

This is one of the best places to go herping. We did not go in the monsoon when you can spot many many snakes every night. We were there for 2 days and 2 nights in November but still found 3 different species and 8 different specimens - Malabar pit viper, green vine snake and cat snake.
