My husband and I booked a 5D/4N "join group" safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro, and Lake Manyara through Taralight Safari Tours. Lightness responded quickly to emails and made sure all of our questions were answered before the trip. Richard and Justin picked us up from the airport, took us to our hotel, and met us the next morning to take us to the tour operator (Avocet). Richard even went above and beyond to help my husband get a local SIM card so he could use his phone during our trip. When we were done with the safari Richard and Justin met us again to take us to our hotel by the airport. They made our trip smooth at the beginning and end, and they hooked us up with a great operator in Avocet.

Thank you Manase for arranging such wonderful trips. We had wonderful time with all our two destinations: Kilimanjaro & Safari. We chose Shika Tanzania Safaris mostly because they were quick to respond to all of our queries, seemed professional, their price was good. Menase is wonderful and honest person. They were very attentive to our needs and I have nothing good to say about them. Manase, the owner of Shika Tanzania Safaris, is another wonderful person I got to know. Throughout the planning period he was always responsive and gave excellent advice. The price of the 8 day Lemosho Route for 6pax was good. Kilimanjaro hike was quite hard but very rewarding. Make sure you book a eight days trip instead of seven days because that one extra day makes a huge difference. Believe me on this one because we wouldn't have made to the top if we hadn't that one extra day. Go with Shika Tanzania Safaris and make sure you ask for Menase and his crews because we were treated like king and queen. They did a fantastic job in supporting us along the way. Seregenti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro parks were magical. Along the way, you will see lots of Masai people standing along the road to greet you for money. It's an interesting experience. We saw all Big 5 and a lot more including zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hyena, hippos, and ugly warthogs. Overall, we enjoyed our trips very much all due to an excellent job done by Shika Tanzania Safaris.

We had fantastic communication with Godson the owner of Martial Adventure Safaris planning our Tanzania vacation. He gave us excellent discounted accommodation suggestions where we made a substantial saving. We did the actual safari in a 4wheel vehicle with him as our as our guide. He is an excellent guide and a careful driver who took great care for my family. We enjoyed Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro beautiful landscapes and abundant wildlife. Close encounters with lions, cheetahs and elephants had our jaws on the floor! Godson made our trip interesting with his detailed explanations’ to my kids unending questions. The lodges were perfect for hosting families with young children, comfortable and great food. I fully recommend Martial Adventure Safaris as the perfect personalized safari operator.

Lake eyasi is a home to the Hadzabe bushmen, Lake Eyasi is one of the few places remaining in Africa where tribal life is still maintained relatively untouched by the development of the region. The Hadzabe people have called Lake Eyasi home for more than 10,000 years, and still retain their hunter gatherer lifestyle; making them one of the last bastions of ancient African tribal life. A visit to the Hadzabe lands offers a unique and unforgettable glimpse into an ancient culture. you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the 'Hadzabe' (hunter-gatherer bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake
Inclusions: Dinner, Lunch, Lunch, Breakfast, All Fees and Taxes, Guide

This short tour will take you to the Hadzabe bushmen and the Datoga of the most Mbulu tribes. A visit with the bushmen is worthwhile and they will graciously show you where and how they live and hunt. They subsist entirely off the bush and by bow hunting. Everything they use is made from local materials, including their bows which are strung with giraffe tendon and their arrows which are coated in lethal poison. Their language resembles that of Kalahari bushmen tribe (who were featured in the 1980 film ‘The Gods Must Be Crazy’) with clicking noises used.

It was the most interesting trip in all my staying in Zanzibar. The picture from BBC animal world has been alive. We were happy to see all “big 5”. And I should thank so much to our guide Saadi for unforgettable adventure. He knows everything about animals, gave us lots of information. His sense of humor, kindness and professionalism made our trip absolutely wonderful. If you are going to safari choose Simba safari and Saadi as a guide.

Tarangire and Ngorongoro are both worth seeing. I preferred the animal spotting in Tarangire but the Ngorongoro crater is stunning, a must see. The trip was well organized and i would recommend booking the safari with Mohammed. Everything was as described in the safari details i had read before booking and Mohammed is a really friendly guy. I also want to thank Assad, who works with Mohammed, for helping me out in and around Arusha before and after Safari. A great experience, thanks guys.
