I adore this cafe. Jan and Wilf have been leaders in the Pottery community. To me this cafe has a resonance and magic that few other places still have. I find the food great, It has wonderful artworks on the walls, and on shelves, interesting and unique, and in winter - open fires. You drink tea off pottery made by the owners, and in one room there is a display of their pots. Perhaps you may sometimes wait a little longer for your food that a cafe at the nearby mall, but it is made and served with a kindness and generosity of spirit. This is one of my favourite places to go for food or a cup of tea anywhere in the world.

I have visited here a few times over the years and always found it worthwhile. There is a reasonable selection of stores to choose from and for me Icebreaker is always a must visit. Just be aware given these are outlet stores they might not always have what you want in your size. There are also some good cafes in the area a well. Parking on state highway can be challenging as you would expect but there generally plenty of space to park on the parallel to the state highway 1, just turn left before the traffic lights and there is parking by the railway station.
