A great spot to watch the waves and watch the surfers, especially when the weather gets a bit stormy. Because of the coastline and the surfing break, the carpark is pretty close to the actual surfing action, so it's a great spot to watching the surfers in action.

Perched right on the cliff-top, two 100-metre-high lookouts project 25 and 17 metres beyond the rim of the Murchison Gorge. Visitors can venture out on the skywalks and enjoy incredible views of the spectacular gorge and surrounding environment. Learn about the traditional owners ‘Nanda’ heritage and culture through interpretive signage and artwork. Discover local fauna statues, fossils and geolocation information on the 400 million year old sandstone that makes these gorges. Pathways are flat and level to the Skywalk, toilets and shelters for easy access for people with prams and wheelchairs. There is also undercover seating and a kiosk. Roads are sealed. Park entry fees apply. Drinking water can be purchased during kiosk operation times. Take plenty of water on all walking trails within the park.
My first time to the Kalbarri national park and I was amazed at how good the facilities were, the skywalk in particular is breathtaking and really cleverly integrated with local indigenous information as well as information about the biodiversity of the park The cafe was a massive surprise and was stocked with delicious treats, meals and excellent coffee

Kalbarri National Park surrounds the lower reaches of the Murchison River, which has cut a magnificent 80 kilometre gorge through the red and white banded sandstone to create formations such as Nature’s Window and The Loop, Z-Bend and Hawks Head, with scenic gorge views at the Ross Graham Lookout and views of the town and river mouth at Meanarra Hill.

This is a privately run business which houses a wide variety of birds, some of which are endangered. There is a free flight area and there is information about the various birds. The setting is very tasteful with lots of water features which include fish and water lilies. I have visited Kalbarri several times but never visited the Rainbow Jungle before. I would recommend a vist and commend the owners for a very well kept attraction which is sensitve to conservation of vulnerable species.

We visited this beach on a daily basis during our stay in Kalbarri. Multiple places to swim, fish or just sit on the grass and watch the boats. Shallow water over sandbar is ideal for fishing. Easy access from various carparks and multiple toilet blocks too. Lots of fish and small crabs around in the sand and shallow waters. Boat hire nearby with kayaks, power boats and paddle boats. Definitely visit the markets here when they pop up aswell!

Whether fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming or just looking for a relaxing time on a bit of beach you will find it here. Just be warned to keep insect repellant or a fly veil as the flies are annoying at this time of year

Several view points along this stretch of coastal cliffs, one can enjoy a short amble of a few hundred metres or go for longer hikes along the top. Rock layering dating back some 400 million years creates some stunning views and photo opportunities. Also depending on time of year, whales can be spotted on their migration.

This is a protected fish sanctuary making it perfect for snorkeling. Low tide shows the rockpools and reef and seemed to be very popular with families and kids. High tide is still stunning snorkeling but be careful of strong currents that can carry a swimmer metres along the beach before they realise.
