This waterfall lies towards the southern trough of ranchi plateu , around 60km from Ranchi in the Chaibasa Route. The spectacular Saranda Forest with the trademark sal trees , start roughly from this place. What makes this fall, special among the other waterfalls of Ranchi , is the brilliant reflection of sunrays, after noon, which gives a golden appearance to the basalt rocks... If u enjoy watching the might of turbulent water, visit this place in monsoon. Winter mornings will provide view of a gentle waterfall amongst misty saal forest. However for someone , who seeks solace in serenity, spring is the best time , when Palash starts blooming and the place is completely deserted..
