Yad LaKashish is a non-profit organization which provides hundreds of Jerusalem's needy elderly with creative work opportunities & crucial support services, helping them to feel part of Israeli society & boosting their sense of purpose & self worth. We offer free guided tours each day from 8:30- 12:00 as well as have an onsite gift shop open until 4:00. All of our products are handmade by elderly artisans who were trained onsite by professional artists.

At the market, we'll taste and pick the freshest ingredients for an exciting cooking class at my kitchen close by. Then, we will peel, slice, chop, grind, bake and fry a delicious and colorful feast of the local cuisine! The tour and workshop are run by a licensed tour guide and are meant for small, intimate groups of 2-8 participants.

The glass blowing studio of Jerusalem offers exciting workshops in glass blwoing! Here you will learn an create your very own glass objects. You can come with your friends and family to enjoy. No prior knowledge needed! the workshop is around 2-3 hours suitble for up to 14 people. If you realy want- you can also come for an intro course. At the workshop we are going to work with a torch , and because I want you to succeed to make it by yourself - I suggest simple things- such as glass candies.
