The views are nice and the trail not too difficult for all ages. The full trail can be completed in slightly over an hour (or an hour if you hurry past the photo ops). Something I wish I knew before coming was transport options and could not find an updated one in 2018. There is a Free shuttle bus from Kakunodate station (yes, they do a return leg too) at 4 times a day during 10 oct to 10 nov 2018. Timings in the picture. The visitors centre at the station will be able to advise you. (Come out of the station, its a standalone hut on the right). The visitors centre can also hold your bags for you, but if they run out of capacity, there are always lockers.

Clear streams and pristine forests create landscapes such as varied ses, roses, and waterfalls. Fresh green is beautiful in spring, summer is a summer resort, autumn leaves color the whole area in autumn. It is a place where you can heal your mind by negative ions, river murmurs, and birds singing.
Wonderful facilities that have recently been upgraded. Magical photo opportunities and zen like peace and beauty! Highly recommend the chicken yakitorii at the entrance!!

You have to book a tour to visit this valley. The cave is beautiful where you can have a cup of coffee (35 (san go/coral) coffee), which is made in Okinawa and other drinks while waiting for the tour. (Or you can go there just to have drinks). The tour ends in the property of Okinawa world where you can watch Super Eisa for free if you do the tour of Valley of Gangala, so if you plan to go to Okinawa world as well, I recommend you to do Valley of gangala first, then Okinawa world. *You do have to purchase extra tickets for certain part of Okinawa world. Since this is a review of Valley of Gangala, I will not go into Okinawa world review here, but since I didn't know that I end up in Okinawa world after the tour, I thought it might be a helpful information for some people. I totally recommend a visit to Valley of Gangala!
