Nine Miles, is the birth place of our late great reggae superstar, Bob Marley and is also his final resting place. The trip takes you through various villages where you can learn quite a lot about rural Jamaica- the real Jamaica. The guide takes you through the black gates, up a steep but beautifully paved walkway and up to Bob's childhood home and his resting place. By the way, the guides will also ensure you about the Rastafarian religion.

My sister and I went to Jamaica in January 2021 and had an awesome time. We really enjoyed Rafting. We bought some Jamaican rum for us and the captain and enjoyed the ride. At the end of the ride there was a nice store where we bought bamboo cups w straws. We did a lot of sought out activities. My entire trip can be viewed on my Instagram @angela_ethnictraveler under the highlights titled Jamaica and Jamaica2

Ever wonder where the “Legend of Reggae” Bob Marley started his career in music? Why he became so influential, so much so that there was what is dubbed an assassination attempt. This tour will answer all this and more on an exciting journey along meandering roads, local villages and the island’s capital. An eccentric and “reggaerefic” experience you won't want to miss.

Inclusions: Lunch, Air-conditioned vehicle, All Entry Fees and Taxes

Exclusions: Gratuities

The driver and guide were nice and accommodating! I enjoyed listening to the facts as we drove through Jamaica. The luminous lagoon was unfortunately not luminous because the moon was so bright. A little disappointing but out of anyone's control. The rafting was very relaxing but the guide was a tad inappropriate and made some uncomfortable remarks. But the guide and driver made up for it.

We will visit 6 - 7 bars and off the beaten path spots. You will easily get many opportunities to mingle and interact with the people of Negril. The bars you visit are varied and interesting. Highlights may include, underground caves, cliff jumping spots, typical Jamaican "corner bars", etc. The tour is always kept fresh and if the weather permits, you will get to experience a magnificent sunset towards the end of the tour. This is my very favorite excursion ever in Negril. I loved the locations that we stopped and felt safe with Dembert as our guide. This was a huge hit for our group of 30+ travelers. I only wish there was the same option available in Ocho Rios and Montego Bay - Expand Dembert!!!!!

The tour started on time. They have you remove your shoes when you get on. The drinks were numerous and strong. The DJ played some great music. We got to meet some people that were staying at the same resort and break the ice on the boat trip. The food onboard is finger food, so you may want to eat before getting on the boat. The boat cruises the coast and goes to Margaritaville, which was busy. You probably won't have time to eat at Margaritaville, but going down the slides or minor shopping is possible with the time allotted. Don't be late back to the boat or they may leave you there. Crew was great. Bathrooms on board were clean. I had a much better time than I thought I would...maybe the drinks helped? I would recommend this cruise...just don't bring kids. It's more of a adult boat party event.

First of all I want to thank Tanisha of Tourwise who responsibly responded to my emails providing pickup information and our driver, Norris, who made the trip fun. Norris was friendly and serviceable as all Jamaican people are. We were the only ones at the Green Grotto Caves and friendly greeted by Sabrina who prepped for the tour. Our tour guide, Dwayne, was the best in providing the history surrounding the caves. He was very passionate in telling it’s stories and we were fortunate to have him as our tour guide. It felt as a private tour just for us. The beauty of the caves were amazing and worth the trip there. Highly recommend it.
