When it's snowing in Istria in April, the best thing to do is go on a wine tour! This wine tour with Allen was certain MORE, more than we could have imagine and hoped for. We tested the most amazing wine, had the best olive oil, a fantastic seafood dinner and the best company. We learned so much about the area, the wineries, and how good olive oil is on chocolate cake. We could not recommend this tour highly enough and would tell anyone that listens to go to Istria and do this particular wine tour. Allen was so accommodating, knowledge and we had the best chats with him. The whole day felt like we were hanging out with a VIP friend who has all the hookups to local wineries. Crotia is a special place for us and we will be back again and again.....

This is a very long overdue review for Croatia Photo Tour. Only a couple of weeks before my intended trip,I found out that my intended vacation to another country was no longer possible, and I was going to be going to Croatia by myself (solo female traveler). I travel internationally fairly often for business by myself, but was nervous at the idea of trying to scramble to set up a very last minute itinerary. Igor helped me arrange a fantastic private itinerary to see many of Croatia and Bosnia's most scenic spots, and worked around my inconvenient hotel accommodations during the trip. Honestly, just having the itinerary and transit arranged alone was worth the cost of the tour but having the photography instruction was such a fantastic addition to the tour! On top of that, Igor was very helpful and patient as he taught me new techniques with my camera. I am very happy with all of the photos I took, and couldn't have done it without this tour. I would be happy to hire Croatia Photo Tours for my next trip to Croatia.

My fiancé and I had such a good time with Jakov!! His knowledge of Croatian history and the surrounding countries was unbelievable, and he weaved in interesting stories and little facts as we strolled along in Samobor or drove through the beautiful vineyards. There was never a moment that wasn’t fun! He has such a great sense of humor and his passion for leading tour guides is wonderful. It’s clear he has so much experience as a tour guide and really is so great at what he does. We felt like we could’ve been old friends with him by the end of the day, and we’re so glad we had this opportunity. It was definitely the highlight of our stay in Zagreb!!

This tour make unique, that you will eat lunch in three countries. Maybe you have not eaten yet. 1st country Croatia (starters) Bobiči (this is the typical Istrian minestrone with vegetables and pieces of ham) ... a glass of wine will definitely be on the table. The appetizer will be in the smallest city in the world, so says the Guiness Book of Records. HUM retained the image of the early medieval city. 2nd country Slovenia (main dish) Visit to the inn in Rodik, located on the Karst and not far from Lipica stud-farm. Here we will eat the national Slovenian gourmet lunch. After lunch we will continue to Lipica. From the outside we will see the terrains of the oldest stud farm in Europe from 1580. 3rd country Italy ( coffee) The end of lunch will be in Italy, precisely in the city of coffee – Trieste, on it's Unity Square. We will drink great coffee and then we will slowly take it back to Portoroz.
