The Isle of Wight is the perfect place to enjoy some peace, quiet and natural beauty. Except perhaps in the summer, when the Isle of Wight Festival draws visitors from all over the world. In 1970, the Festival was the largest rock-music event ever held. It was called Britain's Woodstock and featured Jimi Hendrix and The Who. (Not so much peace or quiet that week.) The island is also known for its world-famous sailing and lovely resorts, where people have been vacationing since Victorian times.

England's oldest continuously operating commercial vineyard. We love wine and we understand it, which is why we try to tailor your experience so that you get the most out of it. From explaining the basics (in a non-pompous way) through to discussing the detail if you really want to know more. Vineyard and cellar tours with beautiful sea views. Treasure hunt for the children. Wine tasting, and more. Come and relax at Adgestone Vineyard.
The vineyard is in a beautiful, tucked away (though easy to access) spot and the tour of the grounds is informative about the production of English wines on the farm and nationwide. Of course, the highlight is the wine and liquer tasting. It is great value for money and all the wines are delicious in their own right. The staff are clearly passionate and knowledgeable, which enhances the tasting experience. Highly recommended.

Boojum & Snark is a taproom, pico-brewery, art gallery and micro-museum. Located just minutes away from the stunning Sandown beach, BAS is part of a coastal regeneration project which aims to broaden and build on the rich cultural heritage of the Bay area by being vibrant, unusual and singular. Expect delicious craft beer from small breweries, interesting art exhibitions and a friendly welcome.

The Rosemary Vineyard shop is now open 7 days a week . In line with the government roadmap ,and social distancing rules, we are not doing any talks or tours at the present time but hope to be able to restart these as soon as the rules allow us to . Visitors will be very welcome in the shop and can enjoy walking outside in the Vineyard . The Vineleaf Cafe is also open daily, with outside seating only , and with a limited range of light snacks and drinks. We expect the Cafe to be able to offer indoor seating from 17th May. We will continue to follow the government,s Covid 19 safety guidelines and are sure that our visitors will understand and comply with the rules. We look forward to seeing you.
Just drinking the Vineyard's Sparkling Brut purchased on our recent visit to the IOW. A really nice wine. Refreshing, fruity and very bubbly. An excellent buy.

We popped in on our way back to the ferry port after a scorching week of camping, and were delighted to be greeted by the lovely goats who were happy for us to say hello and take their picture. They’re obviously very used to meeting people! Inside we found the fudge that we’d heard so much about, as well as some great cheeses. We bought some of both (we’re trying to be good and make the fudge last, but our willpower isn’t that strong) and can testify that their reputation is well warranted - it’s all delicious! Would have liked to have stopped for a cup of tea and some cake but we were short of time, so we’ll definitely have to come back. Had a nice chat with the owner who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and picked up some great tips on kefir. Worth another visit!

We have been there twice this week. Great staff went out of their way to accommodate us for the second visit as we hadn’t booked. Food excellent could not fault it and loved the halloumi fries. Drink selection is great especially the gin sampler (Well worth a try). We were there incidentally the day of an undermentioned complaint and thought the manager handled himself extremely well. Why would a vegetarian order a veggie burger and expect a beef burger to be in the bun! It was halloumi and mushroom as stated on the menu. Can’t wait to return especially for the Caramel Martini Expresso.
