On the southern tip of Ajishima island is a photo spot called Dowameki Cape. The Pacific Ocean can be seen in all its glory from the lighthouse area. The island can be accessed in about 60 min.by boat from the Ishinomaki Central Terminal on the Ajishima Island Line, a 15-min. walk from JR Ishinomaki Station.
