We enjoyed our visit to this theater in downtown Iowa City. Comfy chairs in the front row of small theater. Independent films shown. Not just box office hits. Documentaries, film festival winners, thought-provoking cinema. Prices are reasonable. Concessions available. I recommend. Great for lovers of cinema.

Hatchet Jack’s is an alternative form of entertainment for people over the age of 18 in the Iowa City area. We offer a fun, safe environment that is perfect for corporate team-building, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, group events, social get-togethers and casual entertainment
Our family had a birthday outing at Hatchet Jack's and had a wonderful time. It is great cathartic fun throwing hatchets at wood targets. The facility is clean, comfortable, and safe. The young lady that hung out with our group provided a number of great pointers that assured success for everyone in our group. All of us left feeling great about our time at Hatchet Jacks. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

First thing to know, it is only known as "Kinnick Stadium." The stadium was named after the only Heisman trophy winner from the University of Iowa. Kinnick died in a training accident in 1943 flying his plane from the aircraft carrier USS Lexington (CV-16), which was off the coast of Venezuela in the Gulf of Paria. Also the first Heisman trophy winner ever to die. Second thing to know, that picture is from a wrestling match where UIOWA set the attendance record for a wrestling team dual at 42,287 in 2015.
