A short 10-15 mins walk from Ozias along narrow rocky paths and you will be rewarded with an amazing scenic view of the turquoise sea and Tripitos. Either on the rock platform above or on the top of the actual arch this is the perfect place either at sunrise or for sunset drinks. I highly recommend a trip here.

Amazing place with a gloomy feel. The abandon village is worth a visit and had great photography opportunities and knowing the history of the village makes you appropriate the atmosphere of the place.

A large public square full of trees; a great destination on lazy afternoons.
Spianada Square is centrally located in Corfu old town, directly in front of the Museum of Asian Art in the Palace of St Michael and St George. Very picturesque.

I really enjoyed my visit here, even though the Monastery was closed. I was the only person there. A really beautiful building in a magnificent setting!

Our first visit to Assos was in 1992,way before all the rebuilding work and new villas were erected but even then with only a couple of Tavernas and most of the village still in ruins we both fell in love with it, unfortunately very little if any accommodation was available in those days so we would find rooms as near to Assos as possible. We think the village is head and shoulders above most of the resorts on Kefalonia thats if you really want to chill out in this beautiful scenic little village with its lovely bay and the old castle ruins high above the village. Dont come looking for discos or lots of bars, this is a peaceful little base from where you can explore the rest of the island

As an orthodox myself really wanted to visit this small church as it seemed is a popular place in Corfu and it didn’t disappoint me at all. Very easy to reach , you can take a bus from Corfu town ( line no 6 ) , we were lucky as it was only 10 min away from the resort we stayed and it’s also very close to the airport as you can see all the planes landing or departing . It’s situated on a small island and painted all in white , it has a small gift shod inside and also the church it’s open for tourists that want to pray or light a candle . Really enjoyed the time spent there !

Absolutely incredible views over Zankythos. Very hard walk up especially in the heat. Recommend taking a good supply of water!! We parked at the bottom just off the main road and walked up the gravel path. Did see a couple of cars drive up but didn't want to risk it as the roads weren't great. If you don't want to walk it, we saw a couple of quad bikes and they seemed to be managing the road with ease. No refreshment stop half way up , it is no longer there but a lovely cafe 200m for the monastery which sells cold drinks and ice creams. Also a Byzantine church ruin on the way up which is worth having a look. Sign stating the history in greek and english near the outside of the ruin. When you get to the top the monastery is locked but the man that runs the restaurant was bringing a man up and unlocked it, so we managed to have a look around. It may be worth stopping at the café and asking if he could unlock it before going up the last bit. Also if walk up past the outside of the monastery there is a large pile of rocks that you can climb and reach the peak of mount Skopos. The view is stunning and well worth making the climb. However the rocks are steep so care should be taken . Well worth including on your trip to Zankythos.
