Coche Beach

Located along an extensive sandy tongue at the northwestern tip of Coche Island - which together with the islands of Margarita and Cubagua make up the Nueva Esparta State. Coche Beach or Playa La Punta is by far the most famous and popular beach of this kind in the Americas - arid and beautiful. Its waters are clear and without waves of intense blue with splendid turquoise tones. Its sands white and very soft to the touch, are constantly swept by the trade winds of the northeast which blow all year round the island considerably reducing the sensation of heat. It is a world famous place for kitesurfing and windsurfing + Fun. There are kitesurf and windsurf schools. You can rent jet skis, four-wheel motorcycles, kayaks and bicycles. But above all in Playa La Punta and throughout the island of Coche you will find a very kind type of people.

Playa Parguito

Reviewed By mariarM3632NZ - Surrey, United Kingdom

This beach is absolutely beautiful. Its pristine , crystal clear waters are breathtaking on their own. However, the beach cleanliness, light golden sand , mountains and plenty of palm trees only add to the majestic paradisiac view. Its one of the very few beaches of the Caribbean with really wavey waters. We were shocked at how the water is so transparent you can actually see the full bodies of peoples playing inside of the waves. The only negative point about this beach is the insane amount of street vendors !!! Specially if they spot that you're foreign. They will try to sell just about anything. Plenty of massage and other relaxation services are offered as well. So if you're fan of buying souvenirs and getting a massage with a view this may not be a negative point for you. Despite the only negative Point I could find about this beach, I am Still giving it 5 stars because this beach is just too breathtaking!! There is also some sort of security service looking after people's cars at the parking lot. Though the beach itself feels very peaceful and safe ( as of July 2017) . I went on a weekday, and the place was full of foreign tourists. No surprise. This beach is completely natural. From its sand to its waters making of it a truly beautiful gift from Mother Earth. If you're visiting Margarita Island make sure you don't miss it! Will not disappoint :-)

Madrisqui

Reviewed By B1192ZFmanuelm

In the recreational area of Los Roques there are three main keys that you can visit: Crasky, Madrisky and Fransisky. Crasky is incredible, but is relatively far (20 minutes) from Gran Roque and the regular boats routes do not include it, so if you want to go there you should rent a boat just for you. The second is Fransisky, which is located approximately at 7 to 8 minutes from Gran Roque. The place is very nice, having a shallow area in which you can enjoy the sea but with a low deep and without waves. Sadly, a lot of boats and yacht park there which implies a lot of music, noise and people. In addition there is a lot of Finally, there is Madrisky, which is around 5 to 6 minutes from Gran Roque and also having people is more quiet and enjoyable. Also at the north point of Madrisky you will find a nice place for snorkeling.

La Playa El Agua

A gorgeous tropical beach where, as locals boast, the sun shines for eleven months of the year.

Reviewed By 408mercedesf - Washington DC, United States

I have been in playa el agua for few years now, but is still one of my favorites. The water is clean, clear and warn. The sand is white and the ocean brise is very nice. I'm looking forward to there again! I really recommend it!!!
