The largest city and state capital is famous worldwide for its Indianapolis 500 race. Even locals living in the suburbs often overlook the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Eiteljorg Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions, the old Union Station museum cluster, and downtown Canal Walk, to name but a few landmarks. South Bend is synonymous with the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

Visit Santa's Stables for a family friendly horseback riding experience, led by our trained guides! Also enjoy pony rides for the wee ones.
This was a Halloween Day Outing with my Cousin. The people here are so very friendly and HELPFUL! I hadn't been on a Horse since my late 20's! They helped me feel at ease and SAFE! We did the 45 minute Trail through a Pasture, then through the woods were there were a few "creek" areas. There were a few up-hill, down-hill - which you have to learn how to lean to "help your horse". I was on "Doughnut" and he was a Sweetie and did all the work for me really! Once my initial "fear wore off I was able to relax and enjoy it! I can't wait to go back again in the Spring. I think they closed November 1 for the Season. Wonderful Experience! (There is only a Port-a-Potty here so go before you get there if you can - not a big deal really). All of the horses are so well cared for and Healthy and seem Happy to just ride the trail with all kinds of new people on them every day. I truly LOVED this experience! Extra Shout out to Chloe who went above and beyond to calm my fear.

My college students and I focused on 4 activities: the corn maze(s), the pumpkin patch, a fire pit for s'mores, and food (elephant ears, hot chocolate, etc.). Everything was terrific. There is great attention to detail and taking care of customers. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch (which you can easily walk to instead, if you wish), and there's a wide range of sizes and types of pumpkins to pick and buy. It costs $20 to reserve a fire pit, but they provide the firewood and keep the fire going for you. When our group came out of the corn maze, the fire was ready to go and we were ready for s'mores. Oh, and the bathrooms are surprisingly nice!

I will just start by saying that you NEED to check out Morgan’s Outdoor Adventures! My family and I went last week (early September) and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were greeted by Gary, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He walked us through the check-in process and thoroughly explained the social distancing precautions in place due to COVID-19. We felt very safe throughout the entire process. Check in was a breeze, everyone was practicing social distancing, and we were on the river in a timely manner. We chose to do the tubing trip and it was SO fun. Our group included 6 adults, ages 22 - 63, and everyone loved it. We saw people of all ages, including children, while on the river and everyone was enjoying themselves. The water was beautifully clear and the temperature was refreshing. The tubing trip took us about 4.5 hours to complete (we stopped to eat lunch on the beach). I strongly suggest renting a cooler tube ($10) to hold your food and drinks. When we arrived to the end of our float, we were all sad to have to get off the river—we all said we wanted to come back the following day and do it again! It was truly one of my favorite things I’ve done in the tri-state area and can’t wait to come back and do it again!

Wilstem is an 1,100 acre property located between French Lick and Paoli Indiana. We feature animal encounters, zipline tours, ATV tours, horseback trail riding tours, and lodging.
Wow, I thought I new what to expect coming to Wilstem but it blew my expectations out of the water. We spent many hours here doing a drive thru safari, wagon ride and exploring the walk up exhibits. You get so close to the wildlife that I could hardly believe I was petting a bison and five feet from a grizzly bear. If your anywhere in the area make Wilstem a priority visit. You won’t be disappointed! And you’re welcome!
