It was a great tour, Gyeongju was a great city to visit. Our tour guide Mimi, was amazing from the moment she picked us from our hotel to every step of the visit and really tried to make the best trip possible for us. She spoke very well English and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you wish to fully understand the Shilla period.

Our guide was both kind and competent. She accommodated our very specific and probably unusual itinerary to orient a new student to the area. I can't recommend highly enough having a local guide in an unfamiliar city, especially for travelers who don't speak the language. It is an absolute must! I will look for a local guide wherever I go in the future and hope they are as kind as Oki.

Save >S$200/pax w this pass, redeem it for free AREX tix, free SK SIM card (1D) (note: redeeming pass for AREX & SIM card & using it as Tmoney card don't activate pass countdown), free admission to Grevin Museum, Coex Aquarium, Trickeye Museum & Lotte World Adventure, palaces and many others. To get $ worth, choose expensive free attractions, check attractions opening & closing hrs then plan your travel route & time. For me, I activate Seoul pass at 10.30am day 1 at Grevin then visit Coex & Trickeye & lastly redeem Lotte World Adventure tix by 10.29am the next day (within 24hr period). We purchased tickets from AirAsia which was much cheaper than from the counter. We took the train from Seouyong and at least 12 stops to Seoulland. From the train station you need to walk at least 10 minutes to buy a train ticket to the park..it was really cold to walk to the park at least another 15 minutes. We need to exchange our online tickets at the information centre. All rides allowed 120cm child to play without parents. Our daughter really loves the Tobot and Larva characters rides. If you can't stand the cold, an indoor play area for kids to play and lots of indoor 4D shows and magic shows. The trick room really makes us dizzy. Lots of fast food eateries and even sledge rides during winter which was great. The last train ride from the park to the train station was at 6.30pm. We missed it because we were waiting for the led lights shows and fireworks. Luckily we took a 7.00 pm bus to the train station. So please planned your day..the park opens at 10.00 am to 8.00 pm however the last bus is around 7.30 pm. So if you are travelling with small children..Seoulland is definitely a must try in Seoul.
