Th best way to travel from Paris or other EU cities to London, extremely convenient. You will see the country side of France and England, very interesting. It's highly recommended to get a Standard Premier ticket (Premium Economy) as meal and drink are included. Also, the train was not even half full, you could get more other own seats for yourself. Each passenger can take up to 2 luggages with a carry on item, but with your own security. The train was very clean; staff were very friendly. I will travel again:-)

TGV

The French just plain do train transportation far better than what we have found in the U.S. Mrs. and I frequently take Amtrak from DC up to New York. Regardless of whether we take the NE Regional or Acela (fast train) … both are bumpy, clickity-clack rides. The French SNCF TGV, on the other hand, is just plain smooth and quite, even at very fast speeds. We highly recommend the TGV as an easy and comfortable means to get around France and Europe. TIP: Give yourself plenty of time at the train station. Don’t panic but carefully observe the signs. Without the urgency of short layovers, even if you don’t understand the language, with careful observation you will eventually find visual signs that indicate what you are looking for.
