Organic and garden fresh spices, fully aromatic, zero chemical, from farmers to customers, without loosing any flavours
An excellent tour of the spice garden given by Tintu who was both knowledgeable and charming. The detailed knowledge of virtually every plant, bush or tree in the garden along with the range of uses for each of them was astonishing. We have been to spice gardens in India and Sri Lanka before. This one was the best ever and you can buy what you like at the end.

I started baking cakes and chocolates for my daughter who craves for dark chocolates. Being a mom I always wanted to give the best quality products to her and finally I decided to make it. Her happiness, love and smile motivated me to create more varieties of it and started learning it in detail with full dedication. This chocolate secret spread across the community and I started receiving orders from family and friends. Later over years, the business grew and we named it as Hachi Chocolates from Maggie's Kitchen. We would like to share our love to you too.
While searching online we read about this place. Excellent place to buy home made chocolates from. I highly recommend that you visit Hachi Chocolates neat National Park Ticketing Office. The owners Maggi and Felix are wonderful people who are extremely helpful. So far the most delicious homemade chocolates I’ve ever tasted.

Hello welcome to Abraham's spice garden. The garden was established in 1952 and one of the oldest and biggest garden in periyar. We are providing a guided tour and you can taste and smell the real organic spices .You can also buy farm fresh spices. There are lots of spice gardens in Periyar so make sure that it is Abraham's spice garden. This garden was recommended in lonely planet and routard also. It is shown in the famous documentary by BBC "Around the world in 80 gardens" by Mounty Don.
The spice garden is managed by Mr Abraham family and is spread over many acres. When we arrived, it was raining heavily. We took out our umbrellas and started the tour. It’s feels like everything is there in the garden and Mr Abraham shares such interesting facts, uses and varieties, medicinal qualities etc that one is amazed at how beautifully such a garden has co-existed. Each and every inch of the garden is planted with something and is a treat to walk around. Highly recommended if anyone is in Thekaddy. Don’t miss out the organic products which can be bought at his home. ????????
