An ancient granite fort keeps watch on this city of mosques and bazaars. On the site of the former town center sits its most iconic building, the Charminar, built in 1591 with a quartet of 160-foot minarets. Across Hussain Sagar, a man-made lake, is Hyderabad's twin, the city of Secunderabad.

Taj Falaknuma Palace, the former palace of the Nizam of Hyderabad is now a Taj heritage hotel. Set in the restored 1894 palace of the Nizam of Hyderabad, this opulent hotel is 2 km from Falaknuma train station and 4 km from the landmark 16th-century Charminar.

A must visit area for history lovers and it's really a nice place u would love to see the heritage and there is amazing view of Hyderabad city from it. Only issue local guys carve their names on the monuments making it look real bad...sometimes, some places. Yeah the kind of crowd goes in generally is pathetic.

Birla Mandir is a famous balaji temple.Better to visit in this temple in the evening time.It is nice and calm place.Clean and very well maintained. It is on a small hill about 150 steps. The view from top was excellent.Chappals and all electronic items need to be submitted at the base.If you want peace of mind and is a perfect place to relax yourself.

Ok first the minus. It is definitely a struggle to reach the place through narrow bylanes of the bazaar but then if you visit Hyderabad, you have to get your pic informs of this amazing piece of Islamic architecture. ❤️ The imposing monument stands regally tall amidst the colorful bangle shops in the labyrinthine Laad Bazar of the old city and presents a beautiful glittering sight after nightfall (7pm-9pm).
