One of the longest running motocross and off road recreation facilities in Canada with nearly a half century of hosting national motocross events, pro and amateur. Iconic events, such as the annual TransCan, have been broadcast on TV and internationally recognized Walton Raceway is characterized by tree lined, rolling hills nestled in the scenic rural vistas of Huron County. Located in the heart of 'Ontario's West Coast' it is just an hours drive from centres like Sarnia, London, Woodstock, Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and Owen Sound. Barrie, Toronto, Mississaga, Hamilton or Windsor, are just a little further. In every case, we strive to ensure that your 'Walton experience' is a fun outing for the whole family and friends.

Goderich, a town of many facets, with beautiful beaches, incredible city design with wonderful little stores and restaurants. Aside from being right on Huron Lake with long shallow walk in the water beaches, in my view, it is one of the most incredibly wholehearted town with picturesque spots everywhere. The people are extremely friendly; the sights around town are unique. The restaurants, well, mama mia, great food! We walked everywhere, took our time and swam at Rotary Cove beach, enjoyed sitting in the park overlooking the bay, had a drink at the old train station. Simply delightful. The water had cooled off a bit but was still refreshing for Lake Huron for September. We recommended many of our friends to go and visit and we are planning to go back ourselves.

We ear at The White Squirrel quite frequently. The food is VERY GOOD. Today was no exception. We had the burger and fresh cut fries. Best burger around. Dessert was amazing. I had the raspberry lemon crepe Bruce....home made! Could have eaten 2 it was soooo good. All desserts are made on site. I LOVE THEIR CHEESECAKE. also they make the best pies! All their food is great. Servers are all professional and we enjoy their entertainment. They even have a shuttle!

I occasionally go to the slots at Clinton Raceway...I find the machines pay well, are well maintained, the staff friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Good place to go for some fun and maybe win some money.

Start at the entrance off the Airport Road and you can walk along the ridge towards the old bridge or the other way past the Tiger Dunlop Tomb towards the newer bridge. Or you can start at the north end of the newer bridge. You will see a sign for Tiger Dunlop Trail opposite the road into Saltford. Often fishermen's cars parked there. The road turns into a trail. Great trail for walking your dog or just hiking. There are lots of benches to sit down on and we have met some interesting people along the way. One fellow was a retired history teacher and he told us a lot about Goderich history and especially about the trail. Another woman and her son were heading off the trail last spring to collect the maple syrup from the trees they had tapped.
