Had a lovely walk and were planning on going to the pub for lunch. However we decided to check out the café and weren't disappointed (apart from them running out of the chilli and the beef stew ????) Excellent quality food, especially the ham and very generous portions. Nice that they also have toys and books available to keep the kids entertained. Good wooden highchairs too. All round good visit.

Booked a day at the races with 3 course lunch and afternoon tea and it was very nice this is our second time going and it didnt fail to impress us. Wine very overpriced as were drinks so be careful a splash of coke cost us £2.65 so order a glass and use it throughout the afternoon if you are mixing it with spirits etc. Food was lovely and staff were helpful although found that they dwindled away a bit after dinner and tea had been served so could improve on that. Racecourse was lovely and everyone we chatted to had a lovely day
