Its and old Garden, with huge trees, small lake, comfortable paths. We enjoyed our stay here, worth the visit. You can even buy the local monastery's beer at the entrance :)

Pannonhalma Abbey Gardens and Herbal Lavender House

Reviewed By Yesol_AK - Seoul, South Korea

Just like the Archabbey, the gardens are also permeated with serenity and calmness, its vast lavender and herb field fills the air with scents that can be just hardly found in daily life. Go there for a relaxing walk, a special olfactory experience, enjoy the scenery and the exotic flora that evokes an unearthly place out of our time. Go there respecting the plants, touching them is strictly prohibited. The lavender field ends with a tea house where you can enjoy drinks made with local herbs and you can also take your choice of plant home, for a small fee.
